A morning at Viera

Alarm went off at 0515.
Thought about going fishing but saw the wind was gonna pick up so we (dog included) decided to go over to Viera to see if we could take pictures of anything.
Stopped at Wawa for gas, coffee and a donut then hit the road, got to The Wetlands right after sunrise.

GBH's are starting to build nests so I took pix just for Diz and Hunter...truthfully I have always liked the light blue gray colors so I will take pix of them every chance I get.

We made about 5 laps around the place and then headed back home about 9:30 for nap time.

First lap.

Some where around the 3rd lap.

Pretty pics dd, the other day there were a few showy blue wing teal there in the cell right before the exit. Overall way less ducks using that marsh compared to past years.

We like how the frills of the GBH compliment those of the palm. Nice pics!
