More good news for waterfowlers

I just got a call from Rick Smith, WRAC coordinator for the SFWMD. Rick asked me to sit on the SFWMD Lake Okeechobee Management Committee to represent waterfowlers. This committee is made up of agency staff and stakeholders and has a great deal of influence on management decisions for the lake. It is a volunteer position but travel and expenses are covered by SFWMD. The meeting takes place once a month at several locations around south Florida. I look forward to contributing to the management decisions for the lake and getting your VOICE in front of the decision makers. :icon_salu
