Newton and David on behalf of UW presented me last week at the SFWMD Recreation meeting, a very nice framed plaque for my work on conservation and hunter access. Even though none of us do the volunteer work that we do for any fame or glory, it still makes you feel good and appreciated when others notice and honor the time and hard work you have devoted.

Here is what the plaque said, “Jeff Allen, Thank you so much for your hard work and strong support for the ducks & for the duck hunters! Your friends at UW”
