Central SJRWMD RAC meeting

Got notice today of the Central RAC meeting for the SJRWMD.

May 4, 2005 in Apopka @ the Apopka Recreation Hall, 176 East 5th St., 9:30am until noon. RSVP Sherri Scott, sscott@sjrwmd.com by April 29,2005.

Directions From HWY 441, (Main St.), turn onto South Forest Av, then right on East 5th St.

The minutes from the last meeting mentioned Allian Kassabs statement concerning the spraying of aquatic plants during waterfowl season. The SJRWMD said that they wouldn't spray during season.

I wish I could make the meeting, but I can't. Hopefully UW will be there.

hopefully i should be ably to make it seens it is just down the road. dont know what the work schedule will be but i should be able to be there any suggestions or comments

Randy, it would be great if you could arrange to attend. I'd like to get a little more info about the commitment to halt spraying during duck season.

Are there other agencies that may be spraying on SJRWMD lakes or rivers i.e. counties, DEP, FWC, Corp etc?

Is the SJRWMD involved in the series of hydrilla control workshops hosted by DEP?
