The SFWMD recreation meeting will be held at 5 pm in the auditorium of B1 at the SFWMD offices on Gun Club Rd. in West Palm Beach.
The SFWMD Recreation Plan will be presented. This is a very large volume that will cover all user's access and recreation on District lands.
The duck hunting on the STAs will also be discussed as usual....

Let's pay for Alex to come up from 8th St. , and tell those commissioners exactly what to do with the STA's------
We should let them know our:smileinbo REAL feelings, and not beat around the bush, like Newton
Let's HEAR IT!!!!

It's only a 78MB PDF with 871 pages. But if you dig a little you find things like on page 170 they have an estimated deamnd for various outdoor activities. Hiking is 1,608,020 "units", fishing is 1,525,279, nature study is 969,527 and the list goes on with hunting listed as 8,095 units. :00000011: I thought we have 7000 just on the STA's
...and they don't show airboating on the future reservoirs
...and they have several existing high value hunting properties shown as "marginally compatible" with hunting in the future.
You've got a lot of time on your hands lately Alex. Find some more stuff for us.
