Somewhere I asked those who voted for the current administration to tell me how proud they were of their vote....lets see....two Cabinet Members who cheated on their taxes.....a lot! over $10,000 for our new esteemed Treasury Secretary, in charge of the IRS ! and over $100,000 for the Secretary of Health and Welfare, who will be pushing for federal control of your "free" health care....Any one of us would be on the way to court....not the Cabinet.

Hillary Clinton the Secretary of State, tainted by millions of donations by shady characters to the Clinton Libary, and the Clintons henchman in the infamous pardons as they went out of office also is on the Cabinet.

What a bunch of hacks!

If Bush had ever tried such a stunt the newpapers, TV and all the "haters" would be raising ****.....Now not a peep from any of these fine moralists....

And now we learn today the President has decided to keep Bush's prisoner Rendition program....you know, the one the Dems and the media scream about as sending those "poor terriosts" off to Egypt for a little chat in the local prison....I haven't heard a single out cry about this horrible loss of their "civil rights".....now that it is approved by our new guy.

Could it be that Bushs decision to use these other countries to extract information from their fellow Arabs was right? The new guy seems to believe it was now that he has the responsibilty to stay ahead of the bad guys....

I thought he was going to make a "change" and give all these poor devils their "civil rights" and let US Judges rule on their fates....

And just how much "press" have you noticed about the successful election in Iraq....peacefully done....But then of course, VICTORY in Iraq means a positive credit for Bush....how about a better slogan..."Bush got it done....We won"

And our current administration is off and running with the "real war" on terriost in Afganistan...the socalled "neglected" war.

The problem with this is Iraq was a "winnable" war....an Arab country with educated citizens and oil to finance a reasonable infrastructure. Like most Arab "countries", tribal but relatively stable. On the other hand Afganistan is a primitive place where a majority of the people cannot even read or write, there is only one cash crop...opium poppies, and the society has been very fundamental, very tribal and prone to internal violence....A real Quagmire!....and we are not going to win a victory there...maybe a stalemate...but if we really try to pacify Afganistan the 4000 casulties we had in Iraq will be a fraction of our losses of fine US soldiers. But not to worry, the Dems have never had the stomach to "win" militarily since WW II and will turn tail and leave a disaster.

But the beginning of this string is correct.....gun control on our US citizens will be up in Congress for the next four years time after time and stopping it will be very difficult....

I am proud of my votes.....did not like the top guy a lot, but had no doubt about the alternatives, especially with the House and Senate votes...

I sure have hope we get some "Change" from this bunch before they do too much damage to our economy, our freedoms and our safety.

I think you cannot compare the current enlightened Obama administration to the sociopathic Bush fiasco.
You had your fun torturing and snuffing thousands. It's our turn now. For better or for worse.

That's something I can partially agree with :occasion14. Remember " if you are not with us, you're agaist us "? That was uttered by the Nobel Price of Ignorance, señor bush and his troop of drooling squealing republikan monkeys( no offense meant to our near genetic ancestors ). That meant(unless your neurons weren't synchronized), that the scarlet brand of an unpatriotic enemy was placed on any dissenting opinion. That had the effect of producing ritual salivating orgies by human monkeys, as they lasciviously stroked their shiny firearms of choice.

I do agree with the Bush policy of one shot, one KILL theory, practice that myself.
Looks like your Presidente may try to remove Firearms from the military.
Not sure if he'll surrender to Iran but the Republican congress has him already running to Camp David.
Republicans will get back in and i can't wait til the shootin' begins, lets kill all the terrorist and i'll FIRE THE FIRST FATAL BLOW!
Isn't it funny Iran is giving this dude the cold shoulder, when you are percieved by the world as a spineless leader of a great nation, but of course thats our new change.
Do you think he will keep picking members of his cabinet that can't pay taxes as us legal Americans do?just a question!don't get mad!i'm sorry, just trying to figure is everyone like the chicago thugs we now have in office.
We may have to impeach this Idiot just for the fact of him gettin' smoke in the WhiteHouse,Airforce One,Marine One and Camp David with his Marlboros.
He doesn't need to smoke to be a cowboy,he just needs to look towards Crawford Texas.:tongue1:
