I was wondering if anybody has any experience with hunting in Mexico. I am really looking into the Baja area probably around Mexicali, but anywhere near will be great. But I'm not ruling out other areas of Mexico. I just have family near there and would like to visit. The only outfitting service I've found is the Rafael Valle guide service. Thanks in advance for any help. I'm trying to fit in a Feb trip.

Got a buddy in Tampa who has gone there but I believe it was in the Laguna Madre area.

I would get with a couple of outfitting services like Pan-Hunting or The Outdoor connection. It doesn't cost you anything and it can pay in spades. They have done the homework on reputable guides/lodges. Pan Hunting sent me a video of duck hunting on the west coat of Mexico. Looked like a lot of fun.

The outfitters get paid by the lodge. Kind of a kickback.

Thanks for the replies guys. Lawrence, I am also really interested in the west coast hunting. Jason, let me know what they thought about the trip. I've never heard of those outfitting services I'll give them a shot. :icon_rr:

Backcast,
Check out the Pintail Lodge near Laguna Madre. I saw a show done down there on the Outdoor Channel. Looked real fun. Lots of pins, redheads, and other ducks. :toothy9:
