On Sunday while hunting the St. Johns River Marsh we had the misfortune of seeing just how bad some people can be. We heard alot of shooting all A.M. but did'nt see any ducks flying. When we finnished our hunt we went to check out where they were. What we found was sickening, dead birds littering a large area of open water not counting what might have been on the dike or in heavy cover. Among the casualities were coots, moorhens, swallows, and small sandpiper like birds. These are the kind of people that give hunters a bad name. They should in no terms be spoken of as hunters or sportsmen, they are poachers and nothing less. We were able to get thier boat numbers and also thier tag number thanks to a friend at the ramp.
THE LAW WILL COME CALLING, and it will be time to face the music. :violent5:
Oh, I forgot to mention all the other assorted garbage left behind (spent shells, shell boxes, snack wrappers, etc.).
