Noticably fewer puddlers at STA 5, at least on the south side. Anyone else have that impression? :sad11:

Did not hunt 5 (was at Goodwin) but the afternoon at 1W did have fewer birds and they were MUCH more wary..WAY TOO MUCH SKYBUSTING by all the rubes with bad set ups trying to scrape down a bird from too far away!

We were at STA1W also for the afternoon hunt and set up to far away from the main flight pattern. Picked up four birds (2 ringers, a blue wing drake, and a ruddy duck) and a decoy someone left behind. Worst day we've had all season, but even so it was a nice afternoon, and we had fun.

hey uncle Dave,
we found some strange, unidentified wildlife that day I was hoping you'd be able to help us with:

It's the critter at the bottom that's got us concerned. Not like bag limits or means of taking. It followed us around all morning scaring off ducks. We need to know how to legally scare it away. Maybe it's a standup reptile???
