Henry Dean to retire in June

Unfortunately, the single most important person who helped us get RECREATION, including hunting on the front burner at the SFWMD is retiring....we have to hope we get a new Director who is a hunter.....our best candidate is Mike Collins. However, there are several others on the A list. There is little we can do but hope the governor makes a good selection for our interests.

The guy has been pretty helpful every time I have talked with him. When are we going to get started on the campaign?

Hey, Newton will be out of a job come March. How does this sound, " We would now like to introduce to you the new Executive Director of SFWMD, Mr Newton Cook". I wish this job was an elected position.

It is to my great regret that I must end my campaign and drop out of the election for Executive Director of SFWMD. It has been a tough campaign over these last 12 hours. I can not let my family watch me get ridiculed in the press. To all(1) of my supporters I am deeply sorry. I never thought all of those drunken naked college parties would ever surface again.

I would like to publicly endorse the campaign of Newton Cook. He is a Great Old Coot, and is getting ready to have lots of time on his hands to fight the anti's tooth and nail.
