Camo chameleon ( I painted the boat )

I figured that the flamboyant lime green paint job just wasn't going to cut it up here, so I gave the boat a paint job. Now it matches the dreary and dead landscape that is the Canadian marsh in fall. Here are some pics (and some of the old paint job for comparison). Now I just need to get the motor put back together and get a licence :)

I made it. That one was made out of foamboard, but I quickly learned that foamboard doesn't hold up. I made a couple more out of corrugated plastic (plastic cardboard), and they were much better b/c I could rinse them off with the hose. It also helped to make a few different sizes to get into different parts of the boat.

wow it looks pretty good i thought it was something you bought great idea going with the plastic.

Go buy yourself a "For Sale" sign at Walmart for .98 and draw something up on thw white side then use an exacto knife to cut out. Way cheaper.

Got the cardboard free from my boss (or you can pick up one of the political signs that are polluting the scenery right now). A 4x8 sheet is $15 and will make many stencils. Keith, I think mine is better b/c it is larger and stays stiff longer :sex:
