Good hunting at STA5 today, got 2 mottled, 8 blue wing and 2 ringers. Saw lots of tree ducks, mottleds and teal, not much else.
Seems like there aren't the number of ducks we've seen the last couple of years, although with the warm weather up north, I'm not suprised. Maybe the cold temps this week will bring down some more.
The hydrilla is very thick and tough wading, but there's lots of cover close to shore.
