I just wanted to wish all Florida Waterfowlers the best of luck in the early season. Teal hunting will be difficult in many areas of State thanks to TS Fay and standing water everywhere. There are birds out there and as always scouting = success.
It's been a while since many of us have had the guns loaded up in a blind situation. I always like to give a brief safety talk to the folks in my blind even if they are experienced gunners. The high water and submerged objects can also present a potential safety hazard. Please be alert, be safe, and above all have fun!
