I have never hunted early teal/woodies in Tallahassee or surrounding areas. I have a mud motor and can get pretty much anywhere. I know the lakes well, but every time I scout I see no birds, including local ringnecks. I know the general strategy for teal is stay shallow, but to me all the lakes up here are shallow. anyone in this area wanna help out, I'll be glad to take you out.

Not likely to get responses here. Join UW-FL and ask this question again...on the members only side. You are sure to get more replies.

Also if you hunt Lake Iamonia make sure to send an email to:

Let her know that you support the UW-FL request for an Executive Order to allow motors 10hp and below for the 2008/09 season.

I am a member, but I couldn't find the members only forum. Also I know someone at FWC that said the motor restriction for Immonia will be 10hp or below. But who knows
