I just wanted to let everyone know about the excellent customer service that I received from Garmin on the repair of my Legend Cx unit. My unit started shutting down within 3 minutes after I turned it on. I contacted Mark R. at Garmin, explained the problem and he advised me to return the unit to Garmin and gave me a return authorization number. I boxed the unit up and sent it to Garmin on July 30th. Garmin received the unit August 1st.. I received a new unit back from Garmin today via UPS with an invoice that stated "No Charge". And, they saved all my waypoints that were in the old unit..
Now that is what I call great customer service. Anyone wanting a GPS unit, whether handheld or automotive, should take a serious look at the Garmin Products. You can't go wrong... I am a very happy and satisfied customer...
