Any fishing ops in Indian Shores area?

I'm a flatlander from the Midwest taking our yearly family vacation in I.S. I am wondering if anyone can clue me in on what the fishing ops are this time of the year and maybe steer me and my 8yr old son in the right direction.

There's plenty of snook on the beaches right now. A 10# spinning outfit with 20-30# fluorocarbon leader and a small white bucktail should bring you tons of fun. Start walking the beach early in the morning and look for the fish cruising just off the beach.
