I've been looking at these boats in catalogs and on the web. Sounds like a great little boat. Does anyone out there have one? How stable is it? Easy to manuver? Room for two without being dangerous? Thanks for you input.

I looked at The Carsten line but found them a little heavy and may be more difficult to hide. I liked the Fatboy Dp by Momarsh.
I would not recommend hunting two guys out of it. One can hunt from boat other guys wades. Boats have a very low profile and are almost untippable. Pole it around shallow water and can put a small ouboard electric or mud motor to removable transom. These boats are not cheap and shipping will kill you from MO to FL. Its for hunting ducks so all common sense about money goes out the window;)

Just got a new Carsten's Mallard and used it for the first time this weekend in STA5. It was a major improvment over my Old Town Dorey. Construction of these boats is real good, it's very light and is set up nice for hunting. Only downside was the shipping cost from Minnesota, but you really don't have any choice as there aren't any distributor's here in So. Fla.
