Upgrades in progress for forums.

Thanks to the tech staff at Vbulletin the upgrade to the latest forum software version went without a hitch. Now there are many new features to explore and some more add-on code to consider.

For now you will wee two new pull down menus on the top bar. One is "Projects" and the other is "Blogs" Feel free to play and see what we can do with these tools.

In addition, if you click on "User CP" you will see some new options down the sidebar menu. One new feature is a personal picture gallery. You can create ablums and upload pics. You can also start a friends list and control who has access to your blogs and pictures

Wow, cool, click on a users name and you will get a much more functional screen with many options including an easy way to add that user as a friend and put them in your contacts list. Pretty cool, sorry, I'm easily ammused.

That reminds me... Find a spell check plug-in :help:

Ouuu, RSS feeds. We can feed Blog entries via RSS off the site to any RSS reader. Kinda neat

I was hoping to add a spell check function to the forum.

Download and install IESpell and it will spell check in any properly tagged text field that you have open in Internet Explorer. Vbulletin says all their fields are tagged correctly.
