OK..I'm a little confused. wasn't STA5 open on sundays? The brochure has it open on saturdays...
Also, it has a call in on a toll free # but you hace to use a credit card to pay $3.35 ??? It also says available on first come first served from tax collector...What county?? and how will they know what hunts are already "sold out" ( 25 hunters) This looks like a cluster F**k already! :(

We suggested a mail in.....but the FWC said their computers could not handle it??????? A simple 40 bucket (plus four for the youth hunt) draw was what we wanted. You could send in a card for all 44 hunts.....only one per.....and then it was all up to the luck of the draw. We did stipulate that the person drawn had to show up with a picture ID, but he could bring any partner. (no transfers of permits allowed).

You are right, it is going to be a mess. But the idea is that when you get through you will have a choice of all hunts still available and you can choose the one you want from those. At the end of the call in period (a hectic time it will be for a hour or so) all hunts will be assigned. This is a little better than a call in each week which was a mad house and had people working 17 phones in hopes of getting in. But, we want to take all the urgency out of the system....maybe next year. Newton

Need a mail in like we had in NC, deadline was about a month and a half before the first hunt date and you could choose from 6-8 different dates. Worked pretty good, no calling, just go to a license agent and sign up for the draw.
