Does anyone have an idea of the water temps of the Indian River Lagoon during the season?

Early season it's not too bad, Dan. You could be comfortable wade fishing the flats.

Come Dec, things start to get chilly and by end of season, colder than a.......................

Several years ago, a boat captized and three were lost. More than likely due to hypothermia.

Would 3mm neo. waders keep me warm standing in the water for a morning or evening hunt?

3mm will do fine. It's not THAT cold down here...:D

My worry would be working up a sweat, then chilling down. There are times (w/ neos) when my clothes are soaking wet from sweat, then after putting out, I'll get chilled as I wait in the blind.
