Merc 8 Outboard

Hey y'all I have a Merc 8 that is in need of the lower unit/gearbox. I don't know what year it is, but on Monday I can find out. Does anyone have a lower unit they are willing to sell, or where I could begin looking to find one? Thanks in advance

Not trying to sound mean ... but good luck finding a lower unit for a Merc.

Lower units are Mercury's "weak link". The powerheads are pretty good - but, the lower units are in constant need of repair. :(
