I will post this up on the Southern Airboat Forums. We need all the help we can get.

Someone familiarize me with how these meetings work and what areas this meeting will deal with. I never been to Satori or Mary A or anything much more south than 520, but if they'll be discussing areas further north that I know a little about, I'll go.

This is the "south" meeting...they sometimes have 'central" and "north" meetings....Always good to go as the land managers are there and can talk on any area.

I will be there Newton.

But just so everyone knows, Doug Voltolina was at the TMG youth hunt and told us all that mary-A/Sarori will be open next season. Not sure what "canal" was being referenced but some are slated for filling in as part of the three forks/ tom Lawton project. They are digging a new flow-way and removing some levys.

One item is a canal next to Sartori that will be closed.

They are closing the S-255/Willow Canal, the canal on the northside of Sartori's & south of 3 Forks.

It effects nothing!!!

UW-F has really grown! Multiple representation (and top quality!!) at two meetings on the same day with agencies that control much of the duck hunting in over one third of the entire State of Florida......

People visiting this site who duck hunt in Florida and are not members of UW-F.......Not bad for $25 a year if you paid it!......But we work for all Florida's duck hunters....members of UW-F or not.

Jeff, is that what they call the east/west flow-way on the north side of sartori?

See you there....:)

As I think of it....Didn't they just do some work up there this past year?? Up by the east end by the shelter?

Yes & the work they did was an improvement to the water control structure.
