Winston...that would be great....If you contact Wilbur ( he should be able to fill you in on the issues of cattail monocultures on several marshes) and John Hitchcock (he has info on a lot of the marshes in the Three Forks Restoration area and about the levee at the "place we shall not name" that should not be taken down although it is in the restoration plans to do so.
Hopefully you can address the issues during "public comments" but there should be chances "off the floor" as well. I know you and others have the local situations in the northern part of the SJRWMD as well.
Do you know Herky Huffman?.....he is now on the Board and a good friend of UW-F. Bill Kerr, on the board is also a friend.
We also have a good relationship with Maurice Sterling, Projects Manager, have repaired a damaged relationship with Steve Miller, Land Manager and Robert Christianson.
John is a good contact to work with on all the issues "down south".

Jorge, I believe we have a "table" and will have to use a smaller sign, etc....I plan on bringing the stuff down Friday afternoon and then leaving it for when you can come, if that makes sense to you.
Wish we had a raffle gun!!!!!

FEB 8th 10:00am is the grand opening of the new STA 3/4 boat ramp facility.
I've been asked to be one of the speakers at the dedication so it looks like I'll get to take Thursday and Friday off work...:love3:

From Ed Harris, DEP
We will be discussing final plans for the Lake Cypress hydrilla treatment and making our initial plan for the Lake Toho hydrilla treatments. We had originally discussed having this meeting on 2/19/08, but the meeting room is unavailable. Please let me know if you have any other agenda items.
I have also attached minutes from our December meeting. <<KIA 12-18-07.doc>>

Newton I'll be very busy Feb 3 at the youth hunt and the following weekend I will help Jorge man the BPS booth in Miami(Im sure we will get more of the gang to volunteer for the booth). I think this thread needs to get on the Member's side also because many of the members dont come public because of all the good stuff on the member's side!
