On Friday, 02/01/08 & Saturday, 02/02/08 the South Brevard Chapter of Ducks Unlimited along with United Waterfowlers, Delta Waterfowl & FWC will be hosting its annual "Camp Blackbelly" waterfowl youth hunt @ the TM Goodwin Waterfowl Management Area in Palm Bay.
The event will include an overnight camp out on Friday, Feb 1, 2008 @ TMG near the observation tower.
Overnight attendees & their parent/guardians are required to provide sleeping bags & tents.
Dinner will be served Friday night courtesy of McKinney Construction for all in attendence.
A story teller will be around the campfire Friday night with his tales of ghost & myths of Old Florida.
On Saturday morning Feb 2, 2008 "first time duck hunters" & their parent/guardian will be assigned to guides/mentors for the morning's hunt @ TMG & the open marsh.
Hunters are required to provide their own camo cloths, shotguns & steel shot.
After Saturday mornings hunt, lunch will be served back @ the check-in station.
A raffle will also take place with items provided by Featherflage Camo, Hi-Vis Sights & Ducks Unlimited.
