We have been asked if we are interested in arranging speakers for the stage during this weekend event in Orlando. UW-F did have a series of speakers last year.

Those who spearheaded the event last year are welcome to comment on whether we want to be involved again.

Perhaps a shortened version, say Saturday afternoon, with any of those speakers from last year who would like to do it again is the way to go.

I am open to ideas and comments....we do need to move on this due to the time factor. Newton

Newton, when I get home from work( hopefully in the AM) I will get the list of speakers and post who we had last year.... I will be picking up my motor from Lamar Cox so I have no problem asking him in addition to steve Rockwood with FFWC.... :)
We had Jim (mallard 222 from SDH ) do duck calls and we had Mark Epstein from USFWS We had two dog training guys....

I have the program with the list.....You guys know most of these folks.....do you think some or all of them would do it again. I certainly enjoyed all those you mentioned and Jim (mallard 222) gives a great show and tell on duck calls. Greg promised better in store promotion this time....he had no knowledge of what was done last year.....as I told him the store did not have enough people in it early am and when the people did come mid day and afternoon they were not directed to the stage.....

Thats why I believe if we do it, it should be from 12 noon on Sat till whenever early evening. You actually could do two rotations.....That way none of the speakers would have to give up more than one afternoon. Newton

I think most important speakers would be FWC and USFWS.
Mallard 222 is a good sidebar and Duck Duds was informative about camo.

The duck calling is for those that like to hear it, but and informed caller that can make all the calls would be good. Maybe Steve Robinson;)

Maynard Cox or Todd Stone as mud motor rep. Who was the English fellow about the dogs? The other dog guy was Jim Crosby from Jacksonville.

How bout a decoy demo from Joe Backwater/FUDs or someone to detail styles or forms of waterfowling.

Of course get DU and DELTA to speak.

What I need is a committment from members in the Orlando or nearby area to be there for the time of the event....then we can ask the suggested participants if they will come and do their thing on the Sat. afternoon. Greg will be happy with whatever we come up with. I do not want to contact the presenters without a definite agreement that our people will be there that day. Newton
