Randy, it's a short transom model designed for boat transoms 15"-17".

is there a degree that the transom is supposed to be for that motor just wondering some day might want to make the g3 so where kevin didnt have to drag me through the weeds

12-18 degree IIRC. A simple wedge install or being an 04 it may have the adjustable bracket for varying transom degree.
