The UW-F summer Newsletter will be mailed early this week. Your comments on the new format and the information and suggestions are welcome......Thanks to David Lithgow for the heavy lifting involved to process the UW-F Newsletter.

Please keep David informed of all events and activities you participate in and any issues that need airing in the Newsletter. We gather up what we have for content.....the next one will probably be "preseason". We want articles from around the state so don't be bashful!!!! E-mails and attachments of photos are fine. Newton

Newton is on the way to the Post Office. We are mailing using the new bulk mail permit. Please post up when you receive your newsletter. I'd like to know how long it takes these bulk mailings to be delivered around the state.

GREAT NEWSLETTER! Received it in the mail on Friday the 30th. Well done, good articles.

So do you have to shoot a Greenhead to get your picture in it? :)

I received mine on Monday. Nice Newsletter!

David,

Just one little thing ... I don't know where the 9 digit ZIP code came from - but, it's slightly wrong. It should be 32130-0953. Nothing major ... the NL still reached me ... although, the UW dB probably should be corrected. ;)

Actually Kevin the last 4 digits are used for the final process of automation. In most cases it does not impact the day of delivery. It does however impact the method. In today's postal environment about 65% of the mail delivered is automated. In other words the carrier does not touch it until he gets to your house. If there is a problem with the zip it takes an additional step. It must be scanned by another machine, then a barcode is placed on it before it is automated. Still it should be corrected for ease of use and accuracy.
