Now that I ma through with all of my cancer treatments and surgery, my mind is getting my body prepared for some duck hunting during the next phase. I have but one problem.
It seems that all the treatments have left me a little colder. I get cold much quicker than ever before. This past weekend was a prime example. I stepped outside for ten minutes and froze my arse off wearing long sleeves and sweat pants.
My old standby jacket doesn't seem to be the ticket for now.
I am looking for a wading jacket for this season. I have searched the usuals and have yet to decide on one.
If anyone has a link to a good deal, please post it up. So far, the sportsman guide and Cabelas Bargain Cave are in the lead.

Thanks much
David B

I got the Herters fowltech out of Cabelas this year and I really like it.

Dave,
I purchased a Cabelas gtx brush buster 4 in 1 wading jacket from the bargain cave a month back or so.... it was on close out from 294.00 to 119.99... super comfortable and gor-tex!!!

Go to the drake waterfowl website and click closeouts. I bought myself and the wife the MST pullover and am very impressed by the quality and warmth. I paid less than 65 for each and well worth it.

What size are ya looking for.

I am going to look around at work for ya (Bass Pro)

I know several guys who have gotten the Redhead wading jacket and the Redhead Bone Dry Canvasback 4 in 1 wading jacket and are very happy with their stuff in hard use in north central IL.

Let me know the size and if you have a preference in Max 4 or Duckblind camo, and I'll work on it.

Hope your feeling better, dealing with cancer and all the treatment centers and such is something we have dealt with plenty in our family and I understand the hassle and worries of it all. Best of luck with all of it, hopefully I can find you a nice wader jacket for a bargain

Follow this link http://www.reedssports.com/Category/main.taf?cat=2202 I used mine last weekend and they are great wading jackets. I don't think you can beat the price anywhere.

Get the MST Drake pull over, they keep you warm. I regular jacket does not work well with waders, especially if your holder is attached to the front. These pullovers go under your wader straps.

Just got a Cabelas sale paper. They have there brand, goretex 4 in 1 on sale for about half what is was new. I have the coat version and it has been great. I'm getting ready to throw on the liner now and head out!
