So, I missed the weekend, but did still shoot some ducks on my cruise (with the camera). Saw over a hundred of these white-cheeked (Bahamian) pintail, a few black-necked stilts and a ruddy duck in St. Maarten. Also saw some great juvie tarpon habitat, but no time to get muddy. Hopefully, Tuesday will yield Mata and I a few woodies in the glades.

Wow, I missed the band! Pepi, all I needed was a cast net and I would have had one for every member to mount :)

Spent most of the day on the beach with Laura, but she won't let me post the au natural snorkelling pics, so you get ducks. We hit 4 beaches, had 2 to ourselves, shared 1 with 4 people, and the last with 20 max :) . These were actually a slam on the brakes, swerve off the road bonus picture moment.

I've seen a Bahamian Pintail mount before and thought it was a joke...guess not.

I have heard from a lot of people that they hunt quite a bit on Andros Island on the west coast.

Friend of mine hunts ponds on Andros for puddle ducks and she also shoots ducks on the flats with the jackplate up and the skiff running full bore. Guess that stuff flies over there.
