Bps Outfitters Day Booth Results

Thanks to David and Joe for sharing the booth and Capt. George and Ryan Tanner, among others for stopping by. We had the raffle gun on hand and sold a lot of tickets to the BPS staff!!!!! it is a real Ferrari and attracted a lot of attention. In the short time of the event a new member signed up on the spot and a number of folks said they were on board and would use the web site. UW-F has a good story to tell at these events and when duckhunters understand the importance of UW-F to the future of duck hunting in Florida there is immediate interest.

What a GREAT event to gain additional exposure for UW-F!

We told our story over and over again as many folks in South Florida are looking for what we have to offer. As Newton Said we got a new paid member and several that said they would sign up at the web site. Additionally there was ALOT of interest in the Beretta Xtrema 3.5. It's an easy piece to sell chances on. I encourage members to let your friends know about this gun. We want to sell out the 1000 tickets by the August 1st drawing.

A big thanks to David who secured the gun...it is super impressive! This is the kind of "fowling piece" that you dream of...it is a do- it - all weapon that will crush teal with light loads or crumple up Geese with those big 3.5" shells. I have a Berreta A-390 and believe me...this baby is a quantum leap ahead.
I had a great time talking with everyone even if the 270 mile round trip was less than a joy.

Mike, I'll send some more tickets your way. When is that cooking event you are having? I'll be in Ft. Myers next weekend. Let me know if you want to hook up. I can leave the gun with you to sell tickets at that event. Once someone picks it up they're in for 5 :cool:

David, the dinner is Saturday the 15. The host club will be selling raffle tickets for a custom rifle and won't allow any competition. Please send me about 40 tickets.
