SB 540 passed the house and is headed to the governor. SMC and the rest of the animal rights/enviro freaks are calling for a veto. Time to voice our opinion!
If you click on the link and read the bill, the important wording is "requires Fish & Wildlife Conservation Comm. to implement enhanced manatee protection study". No more of this "we saw a manatee here once so the whole freaking 10 miles of the river should be idle zone" crap.
