UW-F members needed at BPS-Dania Outfitters show May 8th

UW-F has secured a booth at the Outfitters showcase at Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World - Dania on Saturday May 8th.

We will have raffle tickets and the gun at the booth.
We'll also have UW-F info, apps, and merchandise on display.

We need some members to man the booth throughout the day. Please post up if you can help for part of the day. We'll be there from 9:00AM until the activity slows down.

I would volunteer, but that is the week that I'll be in Michigan. If there is anything in S. Florida in the future please count me in.

David - after reading your post about the gun we are getting from Bass Pro - Do you still want me to pursue my connection?

Just posting an update on the time...

The event lasts from 11:00 until 4:00

UWF has been given an opportunity to address the attendies from the seminar podium at 12:00 noon.

I told BPS we would be talking about habitat and access to public lands. (We might mention something about a shotgun raffle also ;) )

UWF members please stop by and say hi, and bring a friend to sign up if you can. All new members between now and the drawing on Aug 1st get a free raffle ticket and the member that refers them gets a ticket as well.

We participate in the Hunting Classic in ORl and had a symposium last year as well....Duke, Joe and others did the work up there and would appreciate help I am sure on this year's events from all in the area. Give them a shout. The Regional Directors lead and advise on these types of events anywhere in the state and UW-F gets great exposure....anyone can make a suggestion and get the ball rolling. We will get the banner to you and usually can get the raffle gun as well. They are fun to do. Newton
