After driving the same truck for 14 years ... I broke down and bought a new one. I picked it up Tuesday ... right before work.
GMC Sierra 1/2 ton Extended cab SLE 4x4 - Off road package, towing package, Power package (5.3L V8), Safe and Sound package (high grade Bose stereo system, Onstar, XM radio, power bucket drivers seat), steering wheel radio controls, & 17" tires (265/70s).
I finally took a picture of it today ...

Actually, I have an extra UWF sticker ... although, I do need to make arrangements for more Delta Waterfowl & DU stickers ...
;)
Don, now you know why I was looking at your (& Terry's) trucks so much. I still have a few things to add to it to get it "rigged" like I want it ... Rhino lining (bedliner), toolbox, & I want to get a soft tonneau cover.
I've been wrangling with 3 different dealers for two weeks to get the price that I wanted. I bought this one below the dealers published invoice (according to Kelley Blue Book).

Very nice Kev..... I also am thinking about a new truck. The Ranger doesn't have the stones to pull my Hewes out of a steep ramp(like the one at south bay on Okeechobee that I used this week!).
The main problem is the mind set I have.... " I'm not buying a truck that cost more than my first house!" :) Eventually, I'll get over that...LOL:D

Congrats Kevin!! My F-150 is 8 years old, has 230,000 miles on it, but still looks and runs good. I'm driving it 'til the wheels fall off of it!!:D

Thanks guys!
I'm going to sell my old (1990) Nissan ... I'll let someone else drive it until the wheels fall off ...
Only one bad thing ... I bought new 31x10.5 Michelins about 3,000 miles ago ... they won't fit the new GMC. :(

I assume the tires wont fit because they are 15".
Duh they would be on a nissan, never mind.
If they were 16" they would fit, you would have to tweak the torrsion bars to make them clear in the front though.

Right ... the tires on the Nissan are mounted on 15x8.5" wheels.
The bolt pattern is the same ... just the wrong size. :(
As soon as I can get a couple of little things fixed ... it's going out on the corner (US 17 & Spring Garden Ranch Rd.) with a for sale sign ... $5500. :D

looks good kevin! i like those gmc front ends a lot more than the chevys. i cant believe they actually took the front end from the ugly as sin avalanche and applied it to all their trucks  my roommate got a new one last summer and they are so nice on the inside. my 89 k1500 has got 205,000 miles right now but still kickin just fine. im hoping to be able to get a new one by the end of the year but i dunno if it will happen. enjoy it!
