Any local MudBuddy dealers that sell mufflers in FL. I'd like a price on the standard one and the stainless one. The engine is a 31hp Van.

Ed, the stainless exhaust upgrade is $420 for the new style muffler. I also have a "new" used stock muffler. This muffler was pulled from the motor with 1 hour on it and replaced with a stainless exhaust. The stock muffler is $100. Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions.

If anyone trashes a stock muffler. I would like to buy it. I need the pipes and flanges to build a performance proto type . I have a small engine racing friend who says he can get more juice out of it and wants to try something.
Thanks

Wish I would've known Dave, I just cleaned up around the shop and threw 3 dead mufflers away.

They had problems with the old style muffler cracking, just fyi. Supposedly the new one wont have the same problems.

And it was nothing someone with the slightest bit of ability could'nt fix with with a oxy/acet torch and brazing rod.

Well then I guess most mud buddy owners don't have too much "ability" because lots of the mufflers were returned.

I think Ed has enough toys to just about build anything. I was wondering why he was looking at buying.

Why repair it when you can get a new one under warranty, had a pile of them that I repaired and sold at less 1/3 rd the cost of new to those who were out of warranty.
The ones that blew out the baffles due to backfiring were junked and got thrown in the bin.
