2004 Inshore Flats Fishing Slam
When: Saturday, June 12, 2004
Where: Squid Lips Restaurant/Sebastian, Florida
Eligible Species: Trout/Redfish/Snook/Flounder
$5000.00 in cash (based on 100 adult entries) & merchandise
1st, 2nd, 3rd Heaviest Fish: Trout/Redfish $300, $200, $100
Most Spots: Redfish Merchandise
Longest Snook/Photo: Merchandise
Heaviest 1st place Ladies Fish: (any eligible species) Merchandise
Kid (15 yoa & under) Trash Slam: Jack Crevalle/Catfish/Ladyfish Merchandise
Heaviest Slam: Trout/Redfish Don Ray Limited Edition Print "Gator Trout"
Heaviset Super Slam: Trout/Redfish/Flounder 12 gauge DU Shotgun
To encourage a safe release, a one-quarter pound per fish penalty will be deducted for any fish brought in dead at time of weigh in (excluding Trash Slam)
Registration opens @ Squid Lips 5:30 pm on Friday, 06/11/04
Mandatory Captains Meeting will begin @ 6:30 pm
Wade Fishermen: Check-in @ Squid Lips west parking area @ 5:30 am (pending)
Boat Fishermen: Bimini Start @ the east end of Fins Marina Channel @ 5:55 am (pending)
Weigh-In: Noon–2:00 pm
All start & finish times come off of committees Nextel phones
All live fish will be "tagged" after weigh-in & prior to its release
Awards Ceremony: 4:00 pm
$50.00 per adult
$15.00 per child under 15 yoa
