The SFWMD Recreation meeting is coming south! Hope is to draw more people from the Miami and Ft. Lauderdale areas to this meeting. The meeting will be held at the Ann Kolb Nature Ctr., 751 Sheridan St. Hollywood at 5 pm. April 16.

Please note.....the April Calendar has been updated. There are important meetings around the state than need members and friends attention. Each of the Water Management Districts have monthly Governing Board meetings. Plus there are a variety of meetings on the Kissimmee River and lakes.

Newton this post needs to go to the Members forum along with the one about the upcoming Legislative action against FWC. I find that many of the members never go on the public side thinking all the important stuff is on the member forum only. These two issues are the most important of our offseason and we must maximize our participation!
