The UW-F group suggestions are being compiled on the MEMBER ONLY forum....however, we are open to ideas from any of our visitors. These must be in by March 30 to the FWC. Forms are available.
Our members will be putting in their own "personal" requests as well.
Here are a couple of my "personal" submissions:
1. Feeders on private land adjacent to public land must be at least 150 yards from the public land property line.
2. Any restrictions placed on public land at the request of an adjacent private landowner must also apply to the adjacent private land.
These two items are strictly my personal viewpoint, and they come from sitting in too many meetings where the public is screwed out of hunting land for "safety zones" or restricted with "no rifles", bow, walkin only or other disadvantages; and game is chummed off public land that has quotas, much shorter seasons and lower limits for the public hunter in an attempt to conserve the resource.
