I talked to the refuge today and in the next couple weeks they are going to e-mail me a date for an orientation session. If you want to be a volunteer you need to attend. I will post the date when I get it. I'll need a list of names then to turn in and we can run you all in one class. If you know you already want to then PM me name, number and e-mail address and I'll put together a list and you'll be notified of the date and time. Usually it's a 9 to 2 thing. I can try to get a weekend day but I doubt it as the birdwatchers have the calender full of activities. You'll enjoy the class and find out a few things about the refuge system you probably didn't know. Also a little drive around and history lesson. It would be good to get the most we can even if you only go out once in a while. The bigger showing we can put up the better. There is lots of stuff to do and the more volunteers we have the more projects we can get started. Killed alot of pepper trees today.
