While they are not up to the quality of the pictures that Hitch posts ... they are decent. They were all taken with a circa 1980 35mm with a 500mm lens ... handheld, no tripods. The only exception is the pictures of the white heron, they were taken with a Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm.

Ringnecks on Blackpoint?

Yeah, they've been there on the 3 or 4 trips I've taken through in the last month, although it's been mostly pintail. L-pond has had quite a few as well.

Yep. All of those were taken in Blackpoint. That was the only group of ringers that I saw.

Where at? I've seen one crossing SR46 at the St. Johns River and saw one in the Relay WMA once as well. When I called FFWCC to report my sightings, some imbecile tried to tell me I saw a bobcat. Yeah, a tan colored, 90 pound "bobcat" with a long slender tail, without pointy ears. :dontknow:

"Panther"

Did you see it in the Shilo area?

Had a buddy tell me that on a hunt last year, his dog started acting funny. sniffing the air, hackels raised kinda stuff. When he, my friend shined the area he thought he saw a large cat with tail.

I was in Onion farm this year. First one in. I heard a large creature running thru the water, but not fast like a deer. Tried to shine the marsh, but did not see anything.

I've seen one on the L pond dike between the impoundment and Blackpoint drive where all the palm trees are. I heard somebody on the north end of sr 3 hit a very big buck the last weekend.

I saw this buck on the side of SR3 inside the refuge 2 weekends ago. He had 3 points on his left main beam, and a big cowhorn for the right. Good sized buck.
