Good question. I've hunted there once, and of course had a boat.
Give it a few more days when these guys get done with the UW-F get together in Titusville. Someone will be able to help ya a little more.

There is a 10hp restriction. Some folks use a canoe. Walk in can be done, but it would be difficult. No parkin along A1A except in St Pk parking areas, and they open @ 8:0am. Also, guns are not allowed in St Pk.

Guana changes each year. sometimes the action is north, sometime central, some times south, sometimes no where.

Depending on where you are headed and how much you really want to deal with the oh-so-polite-people that set up on top of you, you can actually walk in from the boat ramp. I know that because I've had the pleasure of having to walk out, starting from about where the first houses start as you head north. However, I would not recommend trying to cross any channels w/o having something to float on. :) But if you just want to hunt that first major cove as you head north from the boat ramp, that is doable as a walk in. There are places with very mushy ground and solid ground, very shallow water and very deep water when you find those gator holes <also speaking from experience> :) However if you keep to the sides as much as you can, it is about knee-thigh deep mostly and slightly soft ground. Just watch out for the mounds of weeds in the water that don't quite poke above the water yet. A walking stick would be one of the best recommendations I think.

Hope it helps some
