Another good morning found us coming up just short again. After three mornings with 11 in the boat, we came home today with 10. If I didn't talk so much, and if we hadn't lost all shotgunning skills, and if Mike's gun didn't take a :pottytrai4 , it would have been a limit. Hopefully, one of the above will change before end of the phase.

Nothing wrong with 10 as long as ya had a good time. Heck think we have all come home skunked thinking we had a blast with good friends but the dog wasn't happy though.

I agree 100%. Could have shot very few and still enjoyed it. Heck, it beat pushing the boat over mud at Lake O. I am not complaining at all about the 10, it's just aggrevating to know you should've had a lot more birds on the water. I was jerking the trigger, something I never do, but I couldn't help it that day :BangHead: . Gave a lot of ringers haircuts.
BTW, we actually hit them today. All 18 of them! The difference was hunting in waders instead of the boat. They were much closer, slower and we were already standing with gun in hand. That and the percocet to stop me from jerking the trigger!
