Very nice. 12.5 and you call him stumpy. How much tail was missing or is it a short normal tail ? Either way, that is a great looking "DEAD" gator.

Yep the left foot was missing, pretty cool though.
Turns out the gator is somewhat of a legend around the the area where the Ocklawaha River ends at the St. Johns River.
Ole Slewfoot as the locals named him has been hanging around there for more than 30 yrs that one fellow can remember.

Yes sir! One of my favorite shirts and its worn so thin now..
Sure wish there some more of them.
