new hunting buddy

got my new hunting buddy this sunday. i had been contemplating a new pup and a buddy of mine had gotten one from Wildwood Kennels in MS with an awesome bloodline. after spending the weekend with the pup at our hunt test last weekend, i was amazed at how much natural hunter was bred into him. at 8wks old, he was dragging mallards across the ground, marking birds, perked up to duck calls and shots didnt phase him. i decided to pull the trigger on his brother and so here he is...... 'Wildwoods Top Gun', call name 'Gunner'.

after 2 days he is doing great on bumpers, pigeons and duck wings (camera died before i could get pics of him with the wings), we have been working on 'sit', 'down' and 'here', and he loves following his sister through the doggy door on the porch. oh and his favorite indoor activity is carrying his empty food bowl around (see pic).

you really have to enjoy them soon they are bringing the whole back yard in with them chewing up everything.heck i about talked myself into another one to go with the three we have. enjoy them and have fun training and hunting over them
