I need to print up the fall raffle tickets. The drawing will be at the winter hunt and board meeting. We need to pick a date and location. This year the meeting needs to be north.

I assume we will be somewhere around Merrit Island on Jan 13/14 or 20/21

Please post up your ideas.

North to Minnesota maybe? Someplace that accomodates all vessels and hunters.
Maybe a diver hunt?

Dave,
please print five tickets only and sell them to me. I really could use a new gun.

The weekend of Jan. 13/14 would work best for William and I.

This might be a stupid question>>>>

Any chance of making the board meeting after or before the season so we dont miss a weekend of STA hunting??

Just thought I would throw the question out there....

We have kinda started a tradition of having the winter board meeting in conjunction with a hunt. This lets out-of-towners show up and have plenty of locals to show them a new place to hunt. We do alternate the hunt north to south each year so every other year either MINWR or the STA's will be the draw.

Honestly I doubt we would get as much participation at the winter board meeting if it were held after the season.

As we continue to grow there may come a time when Hickory Mound or something up that way could host the hunt.

Just read the members' comments in the March Newsletter on the hunts the locals took the visitors from N. FL on at the last meeting when we met at Clewiston.....usually the guys up north are just as generous to members from the south who go up every other year to the Merritt Island area....

This north/south rotation is important to the statewide growth and gives members a chance to see how important UW-F is across the state. Someday, it would be nice to need to do an East/West rotation with the Panhandle!!!!!!
