DEADEYE DICK

Went south of town tonight. Some of you may remember I took pix of this pair last year.
The nest is right off the road and I use to pull my truck over and sit on top of it to get a better angle.
Wellllllllllllllllllllllllll, somebody decided to put no parking signs up.I can't really blame them but it ruffled my feathers
a little bit.
Once again I have light trouble, there is a nice size tree in between the nest and the setting sun causing me hot spots and shadows...One of these days I will figure this hobby out!!
One of the adults just brought back this stick and is strategically placing it in the nest

I have no idea what is in the adult's mouth but the young one seemed excited to see it!!
