Great post, good info. My Girlfriend was just asking me exactly how it worked this weekend and I am positive this will mean more to her than what I told her..
Thanks for the easy to understand info.

Who makes F shot?
I use BBB for Geese up north. (used to use T but they are hard to find in store, Still have a box or two laying around) But if I could find F I would use that!!
I remember when I was a Kid my dad would hand me Buck shot for Field Honkers in WI. Its not legal anymore (might not have been then either 20 years ago) but it sure put a whoopin on the Honkers with my BPS 12ga with a Built in full choke.

I knew some old timers that swore by 4 Buck.

Who makes F shot?
Used to be able to find it by both Winchester and Remington (15 years ago) in goose loads. With the higher velocity loads we have today, I think anything bigger than BB is a waste (for waterfowl). If you need something bigger, go with buckshot. I like the Hevishot Dead Coyote in T's myself.

Right on D Duck!! Those T are bad to the BONE!!! I keep a box with me for those "Just in Case" times.

Anyone have anything showing the velocity and danger of differant shotgun shot? I know shot looses it's ability to penetrate much pretty quick, but always wondered at what distnace it is truely safe? Not afraid of raining lead, but what about that googan that sets up too close to you, just how close is too close or at what point to do you break down and move for your safety, not just your hunting?
