A friend of my sent me this......

I manage money for a very successful offshore racing boat team that not only run the boats but build the engines and do the rigging.

This particular boat was at the shop last week when I reviewed their pension accounts. A monster with stuff after stuff bolted onto these massive engine blocks.

The photos are from last weekend’s race in Key West. The boat was doing about 140 when it got into trouble and they estimate it went about 20 feet underwater.

My guys were not driving this boat but had a similar problem with theirs. Conditions were a little rough. Top end on these boats is over 200MPH

Life in the fast lane!

I have friends who work on the Miss Geico racing team. It was a sad and tough week for the offshore racing world. Three crewmen from several offshore teams were lost last week. Keep their families, friends and the racing community in your thoughts and prayers.

Small world, Scott, one of the drivers / captains, lives around the corner from me.......I remember him making his bones as a young gun in the circuit.

Takes a different breed.
