That is the fattest GSP I have ever seen! The guy with the GSP named Birdy goes by the name Vanckirby. He has a blog about detailing the training of his dog that has a ton of good info..

Great lookin dog(cappy). And I went to the blog about birdie and what great information my GSP was stubborn to train all the way till he got about 1 then it was like a light switch. But my female the black one got the hang of it right at 8 months

Can't remember which trigger happy hunter bagged that ganzer. Rey maybe? That was a great weekend with some hardcore gentlemen. If I remember correctly we also cripppled a ganzer who finally dropped what seemed like several hundred yards away. Cappy and I went off after it in chin high sawgrass in hogville. We gave it a hard look but never came back with it. Good times.

That was a great weekend and Cappy was a key part of retrieving ducks. If I remember correctly we hunted a very shallow mud pond that would suck you in like quick sand. 4 legs are better than 2 going through that stuff.
Oh yeah....I think I remember a certain hunter who is often mistaken for the Swamp Ape stuck and needed to be pulled out:eusa_whis
