The meeting for public comments on the PIR for the impoundments and a STA, C 11 and C 9, and WCA 3A/3b, with two new above ground impoundments and a wetland buffer strip to capture and store water. These are just west of the populated areas of Broward Cty.
There will be fishing, and duck hunting prospects, but the PIR must include the construction of boat ramps for access and recreation must be in the PIR, specifically mentioning fishing and hunting.
These marshes and impoundments have a good potential as SMALL GAME HUNTING AREAS.
I suggest all members and friends attend this meeting and speak towards the inclusion of Recreation on the properties and put on record our support of fishing and hunting with boat ramps for access. Again, if these items do not make the PIR, there is little chance of adding them later.
