Hats off to David for another wonderful job with the newsletter. I have often read magazines with 100's of pages that did not have the up to date pertinent information that our newsletter contains. Once again this is proof that UW-F is the authority in duck hunting for Florida!

We must give credit where credit is due. Thanks to the RD's for the Regional reports, thanks to Dave Smith for the "Duck info" column and thanks for the many hours of writing copy, editing, folding, sealing, and mailing that Newton does. I just do a little cut and paste and try to make it look purty.

We are very proud of the percentage of the Newsletter written by members.....and photos sent in....There has to be some editing, but we try not to lose the member writer's intent and feelings....we are not trying for literary perfection!!!

David's skills make for a quality appearance that cannot be found in similar newsletter publications. We are no newspaper flyer!!!!

I am hoping for those growing numbers of members in the western panhandle to contribute more.....and the northwest coastal area...It is of major importance that the Newsletter be truly statewide in scope.

I have already started the file folder for the July Edition!!!! The summer edition is tough to do....(do we need that MUDFEST for copy? YES YES YES)..please HELP!. Submitted copy and photos are needed about June 15.

Congrats to everybody that contributed to the newsletter. They keep getting better and better every time. Just wondering, do you send out courtesy newsletters to people who work with UWF to accomplish it goals? Politicians, FWC staff, SFWMD personnel etc. If not maybe we should consider getting the newsletters to certain people to keep them informed of the progress of UWF.

We send out about 40-50 extra copies to those type folks and to outdoor columnists for newspapers and magazines around the State. We are always looking for more contacts, feel free to let us know of anyone who you think should be getting a copy.
